Liz So 蘇進思 (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary designer who currently resides in London England. She is currently also a graduate student at the University of the Arts London for Theatre and Performance Design.

Liz is Canadian-Born-Chinese and was born and raised in Toronto, Canada to immigrant parents from Hong Kong. She grew up playing many instruments and her musical background strongly informs the rest of her practice. Her main area of research in her spare time connects her design practice with her diaspora, exploring questions of identity through art. She has designed for sound, video, set, and costume over the years and has a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Toronto (Canada).

Liz has recently received two awards for her set design for Rent at Hart House Theatre in Toronto, Canada(April 2026).

You can find Liz supporting her favourite sports teams in her spare time, as well as watching terribly cheesy Christmas rom-coms all year round.
